In Billboards ongoing series of 12 memorable No. 12 hits, U2′s “Two Hearts Beat as One” gets listed in the rock hits segment.
The song is taken from their 1983 album ‘War’. It achieved moderate success when it was released as the album’s second single in the US, UK and Australia. It’s highest chart position was when it reached no. 2 in The Irish Charts in 1983.

The video was directed by Meiert Avis and was filmed on Montmartre in Paris in March 1983 and portrays the band performing the song, intercut with scenes of an acrobat and other scenes featuring Peter Rowan. .
